EXPLORE CHIKMAGALUR

As the name suggests, 'Chikmagalur' is a town in the Chikmagalur District of Karnataka. The town has a historical significance because of the presence of 'The Palaces of the Kings' that are carved on the rocky hillocks. The four palaces are Chaudahari, Chikmagalur Palace, Mallanadapura Palace and Kannadipura Palace. This is a truly interesting place to visit, but it is a bit brave to go there. Chikmagalur was a great place to visit, but it is a bit too dangerous to visit. The atmosphere is very different from the usual Kerala place. The people of Chikmagalur are very friendly.

The road from Bellary to Chikmagalur in Karnataka is a popular one, linked with a plethora of legends, myths and legends. The Bellary-Chikmagalur route is also a popular route for tourists in Karnataka, after a brief stop in the historic city of Hampi. Bellary has a good number of places to visit in its vicinity, situated in the Machinery Belt of Karnataka, which hosts industries such as sugar, rice, oil mills and so on. It also has a good number of educational institutions, such as colleges and high schools.

In Chikmagalur, as in many towns in India, the main access to the internet is probably via a public WiFi facility. These WiFi hotspots are usually free, but they have to be paid for in advance, usually just a few days in advance. Though many of us have grown fond of these free hotspots, there are a lot to be desired. Most of the time, the signal is very weak, and the speed can be as much as a third of what it should be. Chikmagalur is a small city, but it has some wonderful places to visit. The Fort at Fort is right near the town. It was built in 1830 during the British Raj, which is now a heritage site for tourists wanting to explore the city. The Fort is also known for its royal durbar held every year in the middle of the month of February.

Riverwoods is a travel blog that has been around since 2013. It was started by a couple on a trip to India, the first post being an ode to the first waterfall they visited, named after the first river they crossed, on their trip. The first post became one of the fastest growing travel blogs of the time. In the space of a few years, the word 'Chikmagalur' has entered the English language to signify a place of adventure and exploration. It is a place where people from all over the globe want to visit, for many reasons—but mainly because of the beauty and abundance of nature. Chikmagalur is a place where people come to experience magic. It is a place that can awaken a person’s senses and arouse a thirst for adventure.
