For most people who visit Kallathigiri Falls, they are always welcomed with the sight of the most beautiful waterfall in the region. When you are passing by it, it will be hard to miss the large collection of rocks below the falls. The waterfall is the biggest waterfall in the Chikmagaluru region. Kallathigiri falls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Karnataka. It is located in Kalladka village, 22 km from Belur. It is the source of the Gundia river. Kallathigiri falls is considered to be one of the best tourist attractions of Belur. Some of the features of the waterfall are the waterfalls, the stone steps, the narrow passage, the thunderous sound of the water, the view of the falls, the forests and the water tanks.  



The Kallathigiri falls are located in the Indian state of Karnataka’s Koppal district. The falls are visible for 30 km around the area, through the hard rocky hills. The falls are endowed with many interesting features. The best time to see the falls is during the monsoon when the water keeps flowing in the river. Many people have not heard of Kallathigiri Falls, but when they do, it will be somewhere in the top ten list of the most spectacular waterfalls in India. Be it for its breathtaking beauty or the massive cascade that it produces in the lower part, this waterfall is the most natural phenomenon in the Kallamal village, in the Kallamal Mountain range in the Chikmagalur district in Karnataka.

The Kallathigiri Keerthi Falls are the only major waterfalls in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, situated in Kangan tehsil of the district of Poonch. The 12-meter-high falls cascade down from a height of about 300 feet (91 m) and are surrounded by thick forests and pine trees. The falls are the only source of the Kallathigiri River and are located about 38 kilometers (24 mi) from the district headquarters of Poonch.

Kallathigiri falls is one of the most beautiful waterfall in Kerala. It is one of the few waterfalls in the world which has more than one cascade. This waterfall is located at a distance of 15kms from Palakkad, one of the oldest town in Kerala. This waterfall is the perfect picnic spot. You must visit this spot. You can also enjoy different trekking routes offered by the Forest department.
