 In our last blog post, we discussed how Riverwoods offers a unique homestay experience in Chikmagalur by welcoming travellers from across the globe. We have been offering this service to travellers from around the world since 2009, and in that time we have had a lot of different cultures and nationalities that have stayed with us. Recently, we came in contact with a family from Canada, and they have been here for a number of months.

This is a blog about a house in Chikmagalur, a city in the southern part of Karnataka, India. The house is located about an hour's drive from the hill station of Chikmagalur, and is a peaceful and comfortable home for travelers who want to experience a typical Indian homestay experience.

Riverwoods is a boutique property, set amidst the tree-lined hills of Chikmagalur, Karnataka. The property is named after the nearby River Indravati, that flows lazily through the valley, amidst the lush green mustard fields of the region. The property offers fabulous panoramic views of the Indravati, and you can enjoy the sounds of the river while watching the birds, monkeys, and deer.

Chikmagalur is a small town in the district of Chikmagalur located in the state of Karnataka. Riverwoods is a reasonably priced homestay in Chikmagalur, located just south of the town. The homestay is set in the heart of an orchard and its location affords visitors to the area easy access to the best that Chikmagalur has to offer. Our homestay has a house and an additional separate detached house which can be used as a guest house.
