KALLATHIGIRI FALLS

 Many people have not heard of Kallathigiri Falls, but when they do, it will be somewhere in the top ten list of the most spectacular waterfalls in India. Be it for its breathtaking beauty or the massive cascade that it produces in the lower part, this waterfall is the most natural phenomenon in the Kallamal village, in the Kallamal Mountain range in the Chikmagalur district in Karnataka. The Kallathigiri Keerthi Falls are the only major waterfalls in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, situated in Kangan tehsil of the district of Poonch. The 12-meter-high falls cascade down from a height of about 300 feet (91 m) and are surrounded by thick forests and pine trees. The falls are the only source of the Kallathigiri River and are located about 38 kilometers (24 mi) from the district headquarters of Poonch.



The Kallathigiri Falls are located in the Kallar, Kallur division of Erode district of Tamilnadu, India. Kallathigiri falls is one of the most beautiful waterfall in Kerala. It is one of the few waterfalls in the world which has more than one cascade. This waterfall is located at a distance of 15kms from Palakkad, one of the oldest town in Kerala. KALLATHIGIRI FALLS is a series of waterfalls along the Vaigai River in Tamil Nadu, India. The falls are located in the Vaigai Reserve forests and they average about 15 feet in height, with the tallest fall being about 30 feet. The falls are about 150 miles from Chennai and 10 miles from Tiruttani.

The waterfall is located in a forest, and it's surrounded by a rich vegetation. The other side of the waterfall is covered by water lilies and other aquatic plants.
