Chikmagalur is also home to some of the best-preserved temples of the famous hill shrine town, "Mudiyettan". I recently visited India for the first time.  The country is spread across many regions, and India has thousands of beautiful places to visit, from the beaches of Goa to the temples of Varanasi.  But for me, the most beautiful of all was the town of Chikmagalur.  Home to the beautiful temples of Chamundi and Chintamani, Chikmagalur is a small town that is filled with history.
